UTPA's HESTEC Community Day

UTPA's HESTEC International Expo is a celebration of science, engineering and technology attracting well over 70,000 people to the UTPA campus. The day features educational presentations, interactive exhibits and live musical performances by a variety of local talent.

*All exhibits must be ready by 12 noon.

*No moving of major exhibits will be allowed until all pedestrian traffic stops.

LARGE & HEAVY SHIPMENTS

These items will be transported to the event or exhibit area for setup a day the date of use. If any machinery is needed to transport your items due to excessive size or weight, the event manager will let you know of any charges.

DEADLINES

All items needed for your presentation date must be received in our shipping office by dates listed below.

Any and all Giveaway Items – Monday, Sept. 3rd, 2008
Educator Day Speaker Handouts – Monday, Sept. 8th, 2008
Speaker PowerPoint or Video Presentations (for testing) – Monday, Sept. 8th, 2008
Career Fair and Community Day Items – Monday, Sept. 22, 2008

NOTE: The intended recipient of the package for the event must verify that the package has been received by September 18th, 2008

RETURN OF SHIPMENTS AFTER EVENT

Staff will be available during tear-down to assist exhibitors as they package items. Shipping labels will be available and items will be stored in the University warehouse until the shipping date scheduled for Monday, Sept 29, 2008.

*All shipping payments must be pre-arranged.
*UTPA - HESTEC will not be responsible for any shipping cost.
